Fantabulous Cricut Challenge #13

This week's challenge at Fantabulous Cricut was to make a project for a bride, and include at least one of the following: something old, something new, something borrowed or something blue. I used something old (the Fabulous Finds and Stretch Your Imagination cartridges)and something blue (ribbon, cardstock, and pp).

I made a gift card holder that could be a shower present or a wedding present. There are so many gift cards available now - spa & salon gift cards make great shower presents, while restaurant, hotel, or department store gift cards make great wedding presents. This gift card holder has room for three cards, so you can mix and match them for a gift tailored to the interests of the bride & groom.

The gift card holder is from Fabulous Finds (it's labeled as "trialbm1), cut at 5.75" for the inside, and at 5.75" with the blackout option for the outside. The bride & groom image is from Stretch Your Imagination, cut at 4", and the shaped background is from Storybook, cut at 5" and 5.25" for a shadow. The 5" image was embossed with the Swiss Dots Cuttlebug embossing holder. Here's a view of the front:

Here's a view of the inside, with some faux giftcards attached with glue dots.

Please check out all the DT projects this week for some wonderful wedding ideas, and don't forget to link your project back to the Fantabulous Cricut blog!
