This week at Fantabulous Cricut, we're focusing on Christmas gifts and gift wraps made with the Cricut.
I used Tags, Bags, Boxes & More for these two gift boxes.
The tree box was cut using the "fit to page" feature on the Expression, which ended up at about 6.5". I folded back the tabs on the front of the box so I could see the tree shape, and then added pp strips to cover the box front. I added some punched border strips and a few beads to the tree, and then added a glittered star to the top. The star was cut at 1.5" from George & Basic Shapes.
The gift box is actually "Matchbox 2" on the TBBM cartridge. I cut this from cream cardstock at 8.25" for the box bottom and then at 8.5" from some Basic Grey Christmas paper for the box top. The reindeer from the Joys of the Season cartridge seemed like a great match to the patterned paper, so I cut it at 3.5", using the ornament option. This size box could easily hold a book, scarf, or a Cricut cartridge!
We'd love to see your ideas for Christmas gifts and giftwraps, so be sure to link them back to the Fantabulous Cricut blog, and you'll get a chance to win a gift of your own from this week's sponsor!
