It's time to Deck the Halls with Fantabulous Cricut!

Welcome to Brenda's Scrappy Blog and the third Fantabulous Cricut Crawl...Fantabulous Cricut's version of a blog hop!

In honor of the approaching Christmas holiday, we're having a "Deck The Halls" Crawl...each Design Team member will be featuring an original Christmas/Holiday-themed project that could be used to decorate and spruce up their homes for the Holiday Season!

If you've come from visiting Angji's blog, you're in the right place! If you've just happened across my blog and would like to play along with our Fantabulous Cricut Crawl, start here.

Make sure to check out each DT member's blog for some awesome inspiration! There will be PRIZES along the way at some of the DT members' blogs, AND there will be a Grand Prize up for grabs at FCCB for one participant that submits a "Deck The Halls" project at FCCB!

For my photo wreath project, I used George & Basic Shapes, Christmas, and Winter Woodland.

The base of my wreath is a wire wreath form from Michaels, but you could use a chipboard or cardboard ring, also. I used George & Basic Shapes to cut various size circles from chipboard and from pp, then adhered the pp to the chipboard circles. The bottom layer consists of nine 3.5" circles, then I layered some 3" and 2.5" circles on top, varying the placement and the patterned papers used. I cut some photos into 2.75" circles and placed them on some of the 3" circles adhered to the wreath. I added some 2.5" and 2" snowflakes cut from Winter Woodlands and scattered them around the wreath, adding some crystals to the centers and a little glitter penwork to the snowflakes. The final touch was the red bow, cut from the Christmas cartridge at 8", with a button and twine embellishment at the center.

Here's a closeup of a portion of the wreath:

We would love to see your "deck the halls" project this week, so please link your project back to the Fantabulous Cricut blog. Doing this will also get your entered for a chance at an awesome blog hop prize!

Now, it's on to Candace's blog for a look at her fantabulous project!

Don't forget to link up your project to FCCB's Fantabulous Cricut Crawl post to be entered into the contest!

Happy Crawling!
