One of the articles this week at Get It Scrapped focused on using woodgrain papers. Woodgrain papers are so popular right now and they can make a great neutral background, or lend a casual style to a page. For this page of DGD at a fall farm festival, I cut some woodgrain paper into strips, distressed and inked the edges, then adhered them in a slightly staggered pattern to look like fencing. Then I added a banner, twine and some sticker "nails" to make a country style page. (All papers from My Mind's Eye).
I hope you check out all the other projects at Get It Scrapped, for some great ideas on using these popular woodgrain papers!
