Frosted Designs Challenge - Chevrons

Our first March challenge at Frosted Designs is to create a project using chevrons.  Chevrons are such a hot trend right now, not only in crafting but in home decor and fashion, too.

For my project, I created a canvas home decor piece.  I used two different red and two different white patterned papers for the flag body, creating the chevrons by using a technique shared by Jennifer McGuire, which you can find here.   Instead of stars, i cut the "God bless America" with my Cricut and the Stand & Salute cartridge, and then added two wooden star buttons and some twine.

We hope you join in our chevron challenge this month.  You have two weeks to complete your project and link it up to the Frosted Designs blog, for a chance to win a prize from this month's sponsor, The Paper Trail.
