A 10 minute card challenge

Lawn Fawn stamps sponsored  a 10-minute card challenge at Pretty Pink Posh this month, and since I had just purchased three of their stamp sets, I decided to join in the challenge.  Now I have never completed a card in 10 minutes before, so I had no idea if it was even possible.  But, according to the stopwatch app on my phone this card took me 8 minutes and 38 seconds.  Whew!

I used two different sets for this card:  Summertime Charm for the jar (and the die for this set, also) and Sweet Christmas for the sentiment and the peppermint candies.  I colored the jar lid with Copics and colored the peppermint candies with Spica glitter markers.  The finishing touches were a twine bow and some outlining with a fine tip black pen.

I'm so happy that you heard about my challenge and decided to give it a whirl. The jar from Summertime Charm is one of my new favorites and you used it in such a cute way on this card!

I hope that you had fun with my challenge and hope to see you join us again in the 10 Minute Craft Dash!
