Frosted Designs Travel Challenge

Our first April challenge is up at Frosted Designs, and it's all about travel.  My project for the challenge is a small travel journal.  We like to take lots of long weekend road trips on our Harley, and usually take one or two long trips each year with another couple or two.  I like to keep a little travel journal with me so I can make notes on what we saw, where we ate, how many miles we traveled, etc., but since we're on a motorcycle, the travel journal has to be fairly small.  This one was a 3x5 notebook that I altered by adding a piece of light weight chipboard to the front cover for sturdiness, then adding some patterned paper, rubons, a dimensional sticker and a few black gems.  It's small and light enough to keep in my jacket pocket, so it's perfect for a motorcycle trip.

We'd love to see your travel related projects, so make sure to link them up to the Frosted Designs blog.  You'll have a chance to win a prize from our sponsor for this challenge, Artsy Albums!
