Meeting Mrs. Santa

I'm playing along with some of the challenges in the January mini crop @ Turtle Soup, and this page is for the challenge to use glitter (or something sparkly) on a project.   When I organized my craft room a couple of weeks ago, I was amazed at how much glitter I have in my stash, especially since I don't use it that often because I tend to make such a mess with it.  This challenge gave me a chance to use a little bit of my sparkly stash, LOL!

I used the Jan 1st sketch from Sketch-N-Scrap for these photos of my grandkids with Mrs. Santa.  They liked visiting Mrs. Santa in her Christmas kitchen, especially since she had sugar cookies with sprinkles to share!  I used papers from My Mind's Eye "Mistletoe Magic", some grungeboard alphas and Basic Grey alphabet stickers, along with a Martha Stewart gingerbread border punch.  I covered the large alphas with red glitter, and used glitter pens over the small alphas and on the gingerbread border.
