Get It Scrapped! - a challenge to do "list" journaling

I have to admit that journaling is NOT my strong suit.  I tend to keep my journaling to the very basic, who, what, when and where.....and sometimes just the who and when!  So this challenge at Get It Scrapped to use a list as your journaling style was definitely out of my comfort zone.  But it all came together as I was looking through some random photos of my grandkids, and started thinking about how much fun they had in anything and everything, how big their imagination is, and how they look at life so much differently than we do as adults.  I made this page with a list of "lessons from my grandchildren".  I hope I always remember these lessons, too!

Supplies: Patterned Paper: Graphic 45 and Echo Park; Enamel dots: Doodlebug Designs; Font: CK Higgins Handprint

I used a grid design for this page, with my journaling in the center, and photos and pp squares around the sides.  To break up the grid a little bit, I added some pinwheel embellishments.
