Gold poinsettia card - take 2

I'm back with another take on the gold poinsettia card from my previous post.  This time I used a metallic gold Gelato to paint a light wash on watercolor paper.  Then I stamped the poinsettia image with Versamark ink and embossed with gold embossing powder.  I used red and green Gelatos and lots of water to make a light watercolor paint for the flowers and leaves. The sentiment was stamped and embossed in gold also and adhered with foam tape, and then I added some pale gold gems for accents.  The end result is a very soft vintage look that's completely different from the original card.

I think I like this version better, but then I'm a big fan of anything vintage!  This is entry #2 in the Jingle Belles gold challenge.
