Time for a Jingle Belles challenge!

This week's challenge at Jingle Belles is to create a Christmas card using washi tape in some manner.  I'll admit this had me stumped for a little while, as I don't have much washi tape and don't have any in traditional Christmas colors or patterns.  I decided to go a non-traditional route with bright pink and green for my card.

The card is cut from the Artfully Sent Cricut cartridge. I used white a pink pens to outline the front, and then painted over the letters with a clear shimmery paint and added a few gold glitter stickers to the ornaments.  The backing panel is white cardstock covered with strips of various washi tapes.  Definitely got the "bright" portion of the sentiment covered, anyway, LOL!

All that time spent thinking was put to great use! This card is fantastic - great colors, edgy design. I never would have guessed this was done with washi tape. Great job!
