Summer of Creative Chemistry - watercolor card

This is another project for the first Summer of Creative Chemistry challenge over at Online Card Classes.  I stamped the leaf background stamp with four colors of distress ink, starting with Crushed Olive in the center, then moving outward using Rusty Hinge, Aged Mahogany and Vintage Photo.  The stamp was spritzed with water and stamped on watercolor paper, then left to dry.

I've had this background stamp for years, and tend to use it with Versamark ink and embossing powder as a card background, so it was fun to try something different with it.

I saw your card on the classroom gallery. It's so pretty. You gave me the idea to try it with my leaf stamps!
