Hopefully you're enjoying the Outta This Funk "Blog Hop" today! There's definitely a lot of inspiration showing up on everyone's blogs. You probably got to mine from Lori's (icutthescrap.blogspot.com). Your next stop on the list is Becki's blog http://ckmommy.blogspot.com/. There are eight more stops to make on this blog hop!
I'm posting one of the smaller projects I've made, but also one of my favorites. This started with a $1 wooden box from Michaels. (See above). I painted it blue, then added a light overcoat of white and sanded it a bit for a weathered look. On the inside, I added a small photo of my son at the beach on one side, and some pp and a clear sticker sentiment on the other side. Then I added some seashells, fibers, tiny beads, and a little bottle of sand (clear microbeads). I keep this out in my workroom and it always makes me smile!
Hope you enjoyed this project and are inspired to make a miniature shadow box of your own!
