I'm trying to use my Cricut more this year, so I joined in this week's challenge at Bitten by the Bug 2, which was to use the boy/girl cuts from A Child's Year. This past week we finally got a glimpse of warmer weather, with hope that Spring is finally on the way, so I decided to use these images to make a "welcome Spring" wall hanging.
The images were cut at 3.5", both the image and the shadow, then those were layered together. The scallop squares were cut from A Child's Year also, using the "tag" feature. The brown square was cut at 3.75" and the blue one cut at 3.5", with another tag cut from chipboard for the base. The alphas for "spring" were cut at 1.25", also from the same cartridge.
