Look what you can do with a plain A2 card!

Today at Practical Scrappers, we're showing 10 things you can do with a plain A2 (4.25" x 5.5") card.  There are some great ideas on creating new folds and shapes, adding windows and other items to make a plain card very special!

Here are a few ideas that I shared.  On this first card, I trimmed the card front slightly shorter than the back and used a Martha Stewart border punch to creat the scalloped edge.  Then I used a Cuttlebug embossing border folder to create the embossed flower border, and sanded the embossed portion and added a few pearls for flower centers.

For the two card below, I rounded the four corner of the cards to make an oval shape, and then added punched or hand cut shapes to create the faces and snowman hat.  A little ribbon, twine, greenery, bells, and wire were added for embellishments.  Although the snowman won't fit in an A2 envelope, he'll fit in a standard business size envelope.

I hope you'll check out all the card ideas @ Practical Scrappers today!
