Altered Canvas project from Frosted Designs

Hi, everyone!  Today I have a home décor project to share, using items from the Frosted Designs store.  I've been lucky enough to be on the Frosted Designs DT for awhile now, and was thrilled when Barb decided to open an online store - actually two stores, one in the US and one in Australia.   Great service and prices and wonderful ladies to work with; you couldn't ask for anything better!

For my project, I started with a plain 8x10 canvas from Hobby Lobby.  I used papers from the Bella Blvd "Daily Chevies" line.  This line has such bright, cheery colors plus a couple of great black and white prints, and the back of one of the papers is printed with journaling cards that work great on layouts or Project Life pages.

Here's a closeup of the journaling card I used.  I trimmed an inch or so off the top, inked the edges, and added some pen stitching and an arrow sticker from the Daily Chevies collection pack.

I added a little spritz of yellow mist to the background paper, and then adhered the hearts that were fussy cut from one of the Daily Chevies papers.  Three of the small Um Wow chipboard hearts were spritzed with white paint mist and then adhered to the center of the paper hearts.
