"Hello Sunshine"!

I think most of us that have gone through this Midwestern Winter are more than ready to say "Hello, Sunshine!", but I'm not talking about the weather - I'm talking about the new Lawn Fawn paper collection!  You may know Lawn Fawn from their great stamp sets, but they also have some fabulous paper collections.

This collection is so much fun to work with - bright colors, fun patterns, flair embellishments, and two of my favorite things in a paper collection:  journaling cards and paper strips!   One of the papers has a large polka dot pattern on one side, and a series of patterned strips on the other and every sheet has a little 1/2" patterned border at the bottom, so you get just a little extra from each 12x12 paper!

I've had these photos of my grandkids for a couple of months, and this Lawn Fawn collection was just perfect for these silly, smiley photos.

I layered some of the paper strips at the bottom, and tucked a couple of the journaling cards behind the photos and under the strips.  Two of the metal flair embellishments added a little shine and dimension.  And...the journaling card doubled as my title, yay!   I added some little pieces of the paper strips to the top LH corner, with the addition of some layered buttons, crochet thread, and a stamped sentiment from the Elle's Studio "Everyday Moments" stamp set.

If you're a cardmaker, Lawn Fawn also has this collection in a 6x6 size, perfect for making some fabulous cards.    Check it out at the Frosted Designs store!
