Compendium of Curiosities III - challenge #5

The new Compendium of Curiosities challenge is to use Tim Holtz's Distress Watercolor technique.  I haven't done much watercoloring because I'm not crazy about the pastel look, but I broke out of my comfort zone a little with this technique and card.

I've had this tulip stamp for years and it seemed like a good choice for a watercolor image.  The frame was cut with my Cricut, and then I added some tiny pearls and strips of lace.  It's not my favorite card, but at least I tried something new!

So beautifully elegant with the pink and green and it has a lovely hint of vintage.

It's always tough getting out of our comfort zones, isn't it? But the fact that you did it and did it beautifully is the pay off. This is a lovely card. Be proud of it. Thanks for playing along in the CC3 Challenge.
