I used the Lake Winter digi stamp by Stitchy Stamps from Stitchy Bear's Digi Outlet, our sponsor for the challenge, and made two Christmas ornaments.
I made two versions of this ornament. For the one on the left, I printed the ornament as is and left it black and white. For the one on the right, I added slight touches of brown, green, and blue with colored pencils.
The images were mounted on chipboard, then coated with embossing ink and ultra thick embossing powder (UTEE). I did three coats of the UTEE, and then placed the images in the freezer for about 15 minutes. When I removed the images from the freezer, I bent them slightly in all directions to get the "cracked ice" effect. The images were then mounted on die cut squares, with either crystal or pearl accents added around the edges.
Please link up your project to the Love to Scrap challenge blog for a chance to win a $10 gift certificate from our sponsor, Stitchy Bear's Digi Outlet.
I'm also entering these ornaments in the Holly Jolly Christmas "Anything Goes" challenge
