This card was made for the
Merry Monday Christmas challenge to use either dry embossing or heat embossing on a card. I ended up using both techniques: the background cardstock and patterned paper were embossed with embossing folders (woodgrain and holly) and the word "joy" was diecut from white cardstock, inked with gold ink, and then embossed with gold embossing powder.
I like the warm earthtones on this, and the woven ribbon with gold specks is one of my favorites. Check out all the entries at
Merry Monday for some great Christmas inspiration!
