Bitten by the Bug 2 - first challenge of 2016

The first challenge of the year is posted at Bitten by the Bug 2 - to use a Cricut  snowman image on your project.   I went way back to 1992 for these photos of our first snowman at our new house, and the start of our tradition of making smiling snowman faces on the trees in our front yard.

It's hard to see in the photo, but I cut the large snowflake background piece from vellum, then sprayed it with adhesive and added some clear glitter.  The "winter fun" title is from the Winter Woodland cartridge and the snowman tag is from Very Merry Tags.  The snowflake overlay is from the Edge to Edge cartridge.  The large snowflakes are wood veneer pieces that I painted white.

One of my goals this year is to scrap more of my older photos from when my kids were young, to get those pictures out of photo boxes and onto pages.  Hopefully I can keep that goal and alternate pages with current photos with some older ones.

Just gorgeous! LOVE your layout!!!!! Also love your goal to get some of the older photos in the scrapbook! As I am mainly a scrapbooker too, I could use to adopt that goal myself! Glad you played along with our BBTB2 challenge this week!
