Online Card Classes is hosting a Summer of Creative Chemistry. In anticipation of Tim Holtz's new Creative Chemistry III class which will begin later this summer, Tim is reviewing his Creative Chemistry I and II courses, with challenges for those who took the classes earlier or are taking them now. I'll admit to need a refresher in the techniques from Creative Chemistry I, so was glad to join in the first challenge to revisit some of the Distress Ink techniques.
This is a four-color tag using Dried Marigold, Abandoned Coral, Cracked Pistachio and Salty Ocean. After blending the inks, I lightly sprinkled the tag with water and then dried with a heat gun to get the bleached spots. The image was then stamped with black archival ink.
