Crazy Dog Birthday

StampNation is celebrating its 6th birthday with a series of challenges AND the release of a new colorful set of inks from Catherine Pooler!   This card was made for the 2nd challenge, to create a playful card.   I used the Tim Holtz Crazy Dogs stamp set for the image, and his accessories stamp set for the hat and balloons.  The sentiment is from the Spot On stamp set from Catherine Pooler.

I stamped the dog, then masked the image and dry brushed Grass Skirt and Fiesta Blue inks to make the background.  Everything was colored with Copic markers and then I added some clear Wink of Stella to add a little sparkle to the sun, balloons and hat. Love using the Catherine Pooler inks and Clarity Brushes for creating softly colored backgrounds!

I'm entering this card in the challenge at Moving Along with the Times (use something in the air - in this case a sun and balloons) and the current birthday challenge at Paper Craft Crew
