Thank you for everything

One of my Christmas gifts was a set of Clarity stencil brushes.  I had seen these on Jennifer McGuire's blog and thought they would be great for stenciling and ink blending, especially when you want a lighter touch of color.  After watching a couple of You Tube videos, I played around with them and made this card.

Stamps and inks: Catherine Pooler

I cut a circle from masking paper and then used a large Clarity brush and some blue ink (Fiesta Blue from Catherine Pooler inks) to brush on the background color.  I then stamped the flowers and leaves around the bottom right of the circle and added the stamped sentiment in the center.  There are some tiny dots added with gold glitter and black pens and then I added pen stitched lines around the circle and used my Bow-It-All to make the tiny double bow.

I'm entering this in these challenges:
Really Reasonable Ribbon Challenge #155 - anything goes (with ribbon)
Mod Squad Challenge Blog - anything but Christmas
Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge - new something (I used new brushes and stamps)

This card is just beautiful. I love the clean and simple design with that soft background and then the pop of color with the flowers. Great take on the challenge, thanks so much for playing along with us this week over at the Mod Squad!!!

I struggle with CAS card design, so this really impresses me. Gorgeous work, and I love the way you created the circle for your sentiment. Thanks for sharing with us at the Really Reasonable Ribbon Anything Goes Challenge. Happy New Year!
