Jingle Belles - shaped card challenge

The current challenge at Jingle Belles is to make a shaped card.  I tend to stick with standard rectangular or square cards, so shaped cards are always a bit of a challenge.

I looked through a lot of Cricut images and found an image of Christmas presents that I thought would work.  To make the shaped card, I hid everything but the base layer, duplicated it and flipped it horizontally to make a mirror image, then welded the two base layers together.  The base layer was cut from white cardstock and the top layers were cut from heavy patterned papers, with shimmer paper for the gold ribbon and bows.

Thanks for the inspiration, Jingles Belles!
