Candy cane Christmas
I love Mason jars! They are great to decorate with and I used them for just about every season. So it's no surprise that I also love Mason jar stamps. I have a few jar stamps, and some of the jar filler sets from PaperTrey Ink. For this card, I'm using the Holiday Jar Filler stamp set.
I stamped the jar first, then masked off the upper rim of the jar and stamped the candy canes, so it would look like they were inside. The bow was stamped on patterned paper and fussy cut.
The images were colored with Copic markers, and then I added some sparkle a few different ways. After assembling the images, I lightly brushed some Zig glue (that dries clear) onto the inside of the jar and used the Tim Holtz glitter duster to spray with some fine clear glitter. Then on the white stripes of the candy canes, I used a white Wink of Stella glitter pen. Green Wink of Stella pen was lightly brushed on the bow, following the shadow and crease lines. The candy canes have a subtle shimmer and the jar has a nice light glittery sparkle.
I'm entering this card into the Christmas Kickstart Challenge (sparkle, shimmer & shine) and the ABC Christmas challenge (M is for masking)

I love Mason jars too and the bigger the bow then the more I like them. Great card - your colour combo and sparkle is just lovely. Thanks for playing at The Christmas Kickstart Challenge again, Jo x
A great job of masking the top of the jar - it really works well. Love the colouring, and the jar itself looks so life-like. Thank you for joining us at ABC Christmas Challenge :) Lynda DT
Wonderfully festive card & I love the effect of the glitter duster on the jar! I have yet to use mine--thanks for the inspiration! So glad you joined the Christmas Kickstart Challenge--Greta, Guest Elf
