I used my Cricut to create the diecut for these cards. The stencil effect is not very pronounced on the card on the right, because I don't think the cardstock was adhered firmly enough to the card front. The other card uses a watercolor background just like the first, but the diecut that was used as a stencil is used as an embellishment.
I don't use watercolors too much, because I struggle with the abstract feel - I'm more of a color within the lines person, lol! But I like the smudged look of these cards and think I'll try this technique again!
