Let's Get Sketchy August challenge

It's been a long time since I took part in one of the challenges at Let's Get Sketchy, but here's a layout based on their August sketch from Brenshevia.

Here's my layout based on the sketch.  

This is my granddaughter with her little dog.  This was the first day of school and the poor little puppy waited by the door all day for her human to come home!
