October is breast cancer awareness month, and pink is the ribbon color for breast cancer. There are several challenge sites that sponsor challenges using pink during October, to try to raise awareness for this disease.
I'm happy to participate in a couple of pink challenges this month, with this card.
Stamp sets are from WPlus9 and Simon Says Stamp for this card. The stamped images were matted with silver holographic paper and the sentiment was embossed in silver.
I'm entering this in the current Christmas Kickstart challenge to create a pink holiday card; the Crafters Cafe challenge to create a pink card; and the Pink Christmas challenge at Jingle Belles. In addition to hosting the challenge, Stephanie & Lauren will each donate $2 to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation for each card entered into their challenge.
