A couple of snowflake cards

This month's challenge at Christmas Kickstart is to create a project with snowflakes.  I used a snowflake stencil from The Greetery for my cards and decided to make two cards with slightly different mediums. I'm also entering these cards in the Jingle Belles "Oh Christmas Stencil" challenge

For the card on the left, I used Picket Fence's Paper Glaze in Snowflake on blue cardstock.  After I removed the stencil, I sprinkled on some fine clear glitter for extra sparkle on the snowflakes.  The card on the right was done with Ranger transparent gloss texture paste on white cardstock.  Once the paste was dry, I did some ink blending with Distress Oxide inks and then rubbed a paper towel over the top to remove the ink from the snowflakes.  I added some tiny gem stickers and a die cut sentiment to both cards.  I hope these are all the snowflakes we see this week, but we're supposed to go from 60 degree weather to 2" of snow later in the week, lol!

I've never used Picket Fence's glaze and I love the effect you've achieved! Two gorgeous cards. Thanks for playing at Christmas Kickstart with Carol and me, Jo x
