The current challenge at FarmQuest Challenge blog is to create a project using an image of cowboy boots, spurs or a cowboy hat.
This was a good challenge for me, because my oldest granddaughter has started horseback riding lessons and is really into everything cowgirl/Western right now. Here's my card for the challenge:
The hat image was cut with my Cricut. It was an outline image, so I cut from black vinyl and applied that to white cardstock. Then I used Copic markers to color in the image, just like I would with any stamp. I went way back in time and got out my old paper crimper to make the background.

Brenda B: Love the card with the rose next to it! Your granddaughter will love this card! And how thoughtful to have her hobby remembered in a gorgeous card! The crimped cardstock is a terrific texture detail! I'm surprised to read how you created the cowboy hat! Very interesting techniques. Thanks so much for linking to FarmQuest! --Becca/owner
