Christmas Crafts All Year Round - August challenge

 This month's challenge at Christmas Crafts All Year Round is to use eight of something (like eight maids a milking) OR make a card for a child.

I used an older stamp set from Catherine Pooler that I haven't gotten out for awhile, along with my Gina K wreath builder template, to make this card.

I used the small branch stamp and the small holly stamp for the wreath, stamping each eight times to make the full circle.  The bow was made by punching two small holes at the bottom of the card, feeding the ribbon ends through the holes and back up through the opposite hole.  I learned this technique years ago in a Stampin' Up workshop.  It gives you the look of a bow without so much bulk.
