Getting ready for Fall

We still have about six weeks of summer left, but I'm getting a start on some Fall cards.

This card started with an accidental background.  I was taking an online class on stenciling techniques and used my Pinkfresh pouncer tools on one stencil because it was pretty delicate.  I cleaned off the sponges by pouncing them onto a scrap piece of white cardstock, and then realized I had the makings of a nice background.  I used a slimline scallop die from Scrapbook.com to cut the background, and then stamped, colored and cut the images from a set by Your Next Stamp.

I'm entering this card into two challenges:
FarmQuest Challenge #33 - pigs
Cut It Up Challenge #283 - animals on parade

Brenda: This is farm-tastic!! I love the little squirrel, mice, and pig taking this hayride! And that sunset looking ink background is a terrific match-up for the tractor and wagons! My favorite hayrides were those at dusk, getting glimpses of setting sun through the trees along the route that the driver was taking. Thanks for including a pig for our current farm and country topic at FQCB! --Becca

LOL, Brenda, I adore the piggies on their harvest 'train' and your choice of the scalloped slimline die is marvelous! Very creative use of the scrap. :-D We're tickled that you've entered our challenge at FarmQuest this month. Hope to see you playing again regularly. :-D Good luck.
