MUSE challenge 13

This week's inspiration for MUSE challenge #13 is this great card by Marion Vagg:

I was inspired by the line of images at the top of the card, with a sentiment underneath, but instead of flowers, I opted for diecut snowflakes.

The sparkle and color on this card doesn't show up too well in the photo, but the snowflakes are covered with light blue and silver glitter with a clear gem in the center, and the sentiment (by Technique Tuesday) is colored with a clear sparkle gel pen and a very light blue Copic marker.  The snowflakes are from the Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge.

Muse challenge #11

I recently discovered the Muse card challenge blog.  Every Monday they showcase a card that serves as the inspiration for that week's challenge.  One difference with this challenge blog, though, is that you also need to comment on other entries and you get to vote for your favorite entry.   As much as I like getting comments on my blog entries, I have to admit that I don't always take enough time to comment on others, so this is a good push to do that!

This week's inspiration is a fabulous card by Laurie Willison:

And here's my card, inspired by the green and black color scheme, the diecut opening and the polka dots.  The diecut is from the Cricut Art Philosphy cartridge, and the sentiment is from Lawn Fawn stamps.
