TicTacToe Challenge #158 - TTTC158

Here's the new challenge board at TicTacToe Challenges:

I chose the center vertical row:  florals, patterned paper, and die cut.

I used some patterned paper, stamps, and inks from the Simon Says Stamp May card kit, along with the matching dies for the flowers and sentiment.   The only thing I added was a strip of vellum between the patterned paper and the stamped flowers.  Vellum is something I don't think about using too often, but it really adds a nice soft touch when you have some busy patterned paper.

TicTacToe Challenge #131

Here is the new challenge board at Tic Tac Toe Challenges:

I used the vertical right column for my card:  brown/beige, wood, and animal.

The images and dies are all from The Greetery.   The background paper was dry embossed with a leaf pattern, although it's hard to see in the photo.  Thanks for stopping by!

I'm nuts about you, Valentine

Here's a cute little Valentine's card I made for the current CAS on Friday and Tic Tac Toe Challenges:

The squirrel and sentiment are from Hero Arts Missing Ewe stamp set, which was an Operation Write Home set a few years ago.  I added some tiny acorns from Lawn Fawn's Sweater Weather stamp set.  The images were colored with Copic markers and the sentiment was stamped in Versamark and embossed with Ranger fine detail white embossing powder.  The embossing folder is from Tim Holtz and the scallop square is a Cricut die cut.

The current CAS on Friday challenge is to use markers or pencils on your card.  I used the diagonal line from top left to bottom right on the Tic Tac Toe challenge board:  sentiment, die cut, kraft.

4th of July shaker card

I bought a Fuse tool a few months ago, with the goal of using it for shaker cards.  I haven't had a chance to try it out until today.  This tool makes it so much easier to create a shaker card!  There are lots of videos available on how to use the Fuse tool for shaker cards, but I used this one from Kristina Werner.

I used a rectangle die from Simon Says Stamp to cut the opening in the card front, and used my Cricut for the rectangle frame.  The shaker pouch is filled with red, blue, gold and clear sequins along with some star sequins and silver and red seed beeds.  The small tags are from a Paper Trey Ink stamp and die set and the word is a Tim Holtz sticker; papers are from BoBunny and the navy cardstock is from Simon Says Stamp.

I'm entering this card in the Dies 'R Us challenge (celebration) and in the Tic Tac Toe Challenge, using the diagonal line of blue, twine, and rectangle.

Tic Tac Toe Challenge Blog - challenge #3

Here's the new challenge at Tic Tac Toe Challenge:

I made a scrapbook page for this week's challenge, using the bottom horizontal row:  yellow, stitching, rectangle.

Every now and then I get to meet the grandkids for lunch, which is a sure way to brighten up the workday.  This picture was taken on a day when DH had our two grandsons and we ate lunch together @ Gold Star Chili - a Cincinnati favorite!
