Meeting Santa

We took our grandkids to EnterTrainment Junction a few days before Christmas to see all the Christmas trains and to see Mrs. Claus and the big guy himself, Santa!  Grace told Santa she had been very good and wanted a Doc McStuffins doctor center.  Declan didn't say anything, just stared at Santa and smiled a little bit.  I love this picture of them looking at Santa.

This is based on the December 15th sketch from Stuck! Sketches.   The papers are from Echo Park and BoBunny.  The glitter alphas were actually a shade of teal, but I colored over them with a medium green Copic marker to get a more Christmas-y color.  The other alphas were a light grey, so I colored them with a red Copic marker and then colored over that with a red Spica glitter pen.   I added a few splatters of gold mist and some silver snowflake sequins for just a bit more sparkle.

oooooh this is very moving!!one kid on each lap!! adorable!! and gosh this big guy is superb!! i think the children must have been very impressed! in france, children see many fake santas and you can easily spot them cause they're skinny and have elastics on the cheeks to hold their coton beards... :((
