I had a poinsettia stamp that I bought after Christmas last year, so I stamped it with Versamark ink and then used some gold tinsel embossing powder to heat emboss the image. I colored in the poinsettias and a few leaves with Copic markers, and then matted the image with green and a textured dark red paper with gold flecks.
I have mixed feelings about this card. I really think I liked it better before doing any coloring, so I may go back and do another one and just leave it with the gold embossing on white cardstock. Oh well, experimenting is part of the fun of making cards, right?
