I used the Snowman Snapshot digital image from Scribbles Designs, one of our challenge sponsors, to make this little canvas wall hanging. The image is probably intended to look like a polaroid photo, but I liked the idea of making it look like the snowman was looking inside a window. I printed the image three times; once on the woodgrain paper for the window frame, and twice on white cardstock. The sky was sponged with Distress Ink, and the snowman image was fussy cut and applied with foam adhesive for some dimension.
It doesn't show up well in the photo, but after coloring the image with Copics, I added some shimmer with Wink of Stella glitter pens on the snowman and parts of his clothing. The little punched snowflakes also have glitter added and a tiny crystal added to the centers.
We'd love to see how you bring on the bling, so link up your creations to the Love to Scrap challenge blog for a chance to win a prize from one of our two sponsors: Scribble Designs and Paper Nest Dolls.
I'm also entering this in these challenges:
Winter Wonderland "pick 3" challenge. I used ribbon, snowflakes and gems.
Craft Your Passion "Bright & Sparkly" challenge. I used gems, and glitter pens.
