Jingle Belles is hosting an inspiration challenge. Here is the inspiration photo:
I went with the mostly neutral color scheme and a mix of rustic and elegant, using wood veneer and gold embossing powder.
The card front was covered with cherry wood veneer adhesive. The image was stamped and embossed in gold, then watercolored for just a bit of color. I added a gold die cut frame, and then adhered the stamped piece to the card front.

do i even have to say how much i love this? you've got the gorgeous wood veneer, lots of luscious gold and fabulous foliage... basically EVERYTHING i loved in the inspo pic! well done, you! and thanks for joining our JINGLE BELLES fun this fortnight! ♥
