Lasting Memories - red and white challenge

I'm happy to be a guest designer this month for Lasting Memories scrapbook challenges!  July's theme is patriotic challenges and the first challenge is to use red and white on a scrapbook page to help celebrate Canada's birthday.

I diecut the large heart out of white cardstock with my Cricut, then used scraps of red patterned papers to fill in the negative space.  The strips were only adhered on the ends so I could stitch the edges down.  Added a chipboard title, a heart splatter stamp, phrase sticker and a few sequins to finish off the page.

We'd love to see you take part in the Lasting Memories challenges this month!  There will be four challenges and you will have until July 27th to participate.   Hope to see you there!
