Cut it Up - Challenge #191

Challenge #191 is up at the Cut It Up challenge blog.  The challenge is to use something related to snow on your project - snowflakes, snowman, snow angels, etc. - and of course, include a die cut on your project.

I used my Cricut and the snowflake border cut from the Martha Stewart Seasonal Art cartridge.

The snowflake border was cut from holographic silver cardstock.  The cut actually has a background piece, too.  I initially cut the background from a light blue glitter paper, but that was just too much when paired with the holographic snowflakes.  The snowflake border showed up much better on plain navy cardstock.  The sentiment is from Catherine Pooler Stamps and it was heat embossed in silver.

Wow! This is such a stunning, simple card! It's amazing how it works that way sometimes! That holographic paper is so effective in this snowflake border design and the silver heat embossed sentiment is perfect! Really nice work on this one : ) Thanks so much for joining us for our "Snow Much Fun" Challenge on the Cut It Up! Blog!
