The current challenge at Christmas Kickstart is to use birds on your project. I have several Christmas stamp sets with birds, but decided to go a little more vintage on this one and used an older Penny Black stamp for my card.
For this card, I stamped the image in old ink on brown shimmer paper and then embossed with gold embossing powder. I did the same thing for the sentiment. It ended up being a pretty simple card, but still has lots of shimmer.
