Merry Little Christmas October challenge

It's October 1st and time for a new challenge at Merry Little Christmas challenges.   Now we're into the home stretch, with less than three month until Christmas!   Yay!

For my project this month, I created a little display piece, using a Tim Holtz Display Dome.  I bought some of these to use for Halloween, but saved one for Christmas.

The display dome comes with a cork base and a glass cover that sits partially over the base.  I used some texture paste over the top of the base, sprinkled with clear and a tiny bit of silver glitter.  The Santa is a sticker from last year's Tim Holtz Christmas release.  I applied it to a small "believe" journaling tag and stuck it into the texture paste on the base.  I added a small glittery brush tree, also.    I wrapped ribbon around the base and added a small pine bough & berry arrangement and a bow.  You could sponge some white ink on the globe for snow, or add some sequins or more texture paste, but I ended up keeping this one pretty simple.
