This month, I am taking the 2021 Holiday Card Workshop class at Online Card Classes. Day 1 focused on creating night time card scenes with special light effects.
The first two cards are based on a technique taught by Jennifer McGuire. The backgrounds are ink blended, and then the spotlight is created with white pigment ink and perfect pearls.
For the card on the left, the Nativity scene was stamped and then embossed with black embossing powder. The card on the right features a diecut Nativity scene. I think this technique creates some really striking Christmas cards.
