Day 3 of the Holiday Card Workshop gave us a couple of ways to (easily) make shaker cards. I like shaker cards when I see ones others have made, but I've always struggled with making them myself.
I can't share the technique, since it's part of a class, but I really like the way these turned out and they were much easier than regular shaker cards. The one on the left uses a vintage postcard for the background, with glitter, mica flakes and snowflake sequins for the shaker. In hindsight, I probably should have used a little less glitter since it tends to bunch up at the bottom. The card on the right has a stamped snowy background, with penguins from Gina K's October stamp kit. I used tiny star sequins for the shaker part of this card.
