Colorful Creations June 15th challenge

Colorful Creations has a combination sketch/mood board challenge for June:

I used the sketch, and some of the colors from the mood board for this page.

This photo goes way back to 1991, when my DD was just 9 years old and in love with the TV show "Blossom".  She loved Blossom's style, especially her cool hats, so we had to get her a Blossom hat for Christmas.

You have until the end of the month to join in the challenges at Colorful Creations!

1-2-3 jump!

The mid-month challenge at Colorful Creations is to create a project using items that begin with the first letter of your name.

For me, that means finding items that start with "B", so I went with Bella Blvd, blue, border sticker, and brads.

Photos are from a trip to the playground last week with the grandkids.  I guess when you are two, it's just as much fun to jump off the end of the slide as it is to actually slide down it!

Mother and Daughter - xoxo

I discovered two new challenge blogs this week (new to me anyway), and created this page to enter both challenges.

Colorful Creations is a sister challenge blog to Let's Get Sketchy, and they are hosting their first challenge - use black, white, and one other color on your project.   I chose to use black, white and pink on my page.

The current challenge at If You Give a Crafter a Cookie is to make a project inspired by this photo.   I was inspired to die cut and create some polka dot heart embellishments on my page.

Here's my layout for the two challenges, with my sweet daughter and youngest granddaughter posing for the camera.  :)

I hope you get a chance to check out these two challenge blogs!
