Jingle Belles Stars or Stripes challenge

The current Jingle Belles challenge is to use either stars or stripes on your project.  I used some striped paper on my card.

I used papers and a cut out from a Prima Candy Cane Lane 6x8 paper pad.  The Santa cutout was adhered with foam tape for dimension and I added some glittery white Stickles to his fur trim.  I really love the vintage feel of the colors and the Santa!   Jingle Belles is also partnering with the Double Trouble challenge blog this month, so I'm entering this card in their Christmas in July challenge.

Jingle Belles inspiration challenge

The current challenge at Jingle Belles is to create a project inspired by this photo:

I loved the snowflakes on the trees and the colorful ornaments, so used that as my inspiration.

To make this card, I masked off a triangle and then filled in the space with stamped snowflakes.  I stamped and embossed the snowflakes in silver.   I added a few round gems for ornaments and a crystal star sticker on top.  The sentiment was also stamped and embossed in silver.

Jingle Belles - It Came Upon a Midnight Clear challenge

The current challenge at Jingle Belles is to create a card with a clear element of some kind.  I went with a shaker card for my project.

It's really hard to get a good photo of a shaker card, when all the elements are clear or metallic!  I heat embossed the joy and the star elements on JudiKins embossable acetate.  The acetate was adhered to a frame cut from matte silver cardstock and then adhered over a different type of silver cardstock.  The shaker elements are clear and silver sequins of different sizes.  Thanks for the challenge, Jingle Belles!
