The Sisterhood of Crafters Winter Blues challenge

The current challenge at Sisterhood of Crafters is to use blue on your project.

                                                 WINTER 'BLUES'
(use the color BLUE on your projects)

We are finally starting to see some temps above freezing here, so I thought I would try to hurry spring along a bit with a floral card. :)

I used a Taylored Expressions Create-in-Quads stencil for the background and Spellbinders floral image stamp, matted with two different stitched dies.  A couple of clear drops finish it off.

The Sisterhood of Crafters - Winter challenge

The current challenge at Sisterhood of Crafters is to create a clean and simple Winter card.  With our forecast calling for 4" - 6" of snow and 1/2" of ice over the next two days, timing is perfect for a snowy card, lol!

I used the Tim Holtz snowflake Impresslits folder with white glitter cardstock.  It's the first time I've tried Impresslits; they give a very cool result!   The background is a Gina K stamp, with Versamark ink on light blue cardstock.  Thanks for stopping by!

The Sisterhood of Crafters Spring challenge

The current challenge at Sisterhood of Crafters is to create a spring-inspired project.
Here is my card for the challenge:

I used Gina K's Watercolor Flowers stamp set for the flowers and a microcheck background stamp from the Ink Blog Shop.  The sentiment is from a Tim Holtz sentiment sticker set.  It's a pretty simple card, but sometimes that's okay.  Just a reminder that spring is in the air, sunshine and warmer days are coming!

Easter is just around the corner

Easter is just a little less than a month away so I took some time last night to work on an Easter card.

The sentiment stamp is from Lawn Fawn and the bunnies are from Sunny Studio.  The yellow check is a micro gingham background stamp from Ink Blot Shop and the grass is also from Ink Blot Shop.  I used a cloud stencil from My Favorite Things for the sky background.

I'm entering this into the Sisterhood of Crafters challenge (Easter themed),  the Creative Inspirations challenge (pastels) and the Stinkin' Inkers challenge (pastels).

Challenge #46 @ Love to Scrap!

Time for a new challenge @ Love to Scrap.  This time, it's an "anything goes" challenge!  As long as your project contains a rubber or digital stamp image, you can pick any theme and products you'd like.

For my project, I made a card using the "Tracy Fairy" digital stamp from Kith & Kin, one of our sponsors for this challenge.  I colored the image with Copic markers, then added clear glitter stickles to her wings, and pink stickles to her dress.  This image would make a great birthday card for any little girl, especially if she loves fairies!

You have until February 1st to link up your project to the Love to Scrap challenge blog, for a chance to win a prize from one of our three sponsors:  Kith & Kin, Bugaboo Stamps, or River City Rubber Works.

I'm also entering this in the Sisterhood of Crafters challenge (anything goes, but use a new product/item, which is the shiny silver ribbon on this card)
