Jingle Belles CASE challenge

The current challenge at Jingle Belles is a CASE challenge - choose one of Stephanie or Lauren's cards from a past challenge and use it for your inspiration.  There are so many great cards to choose from - going back over nine years!   I went with these cards by Lauren back from April 2016.

A few weeks ago I bought a set of holiday washi tapes on sale @ JoAnn's, and used several of those tapes for my cards.

The sentiment strips are from Taylored Expressions and the poinsettia stamp is from The Ton.  I started with squares of cardstock (3" for the smaller card and 4" for the larger card) and applied the washi tape in a diagonal pattern.  I cut the squares in half diagonally, and then cut those triangles in half again for the smaller card.  On the larger card, I also cut triangles of patterned paper along with the washi tape triangles.    Thanks for the inspiration, Lauren!
