25 Days of Christmas tags - Bonus Day!

There was a bonus day on the 25 Days of Christmas Tags - so we actually have 26 days!

I took my inspiration from this tag by Lindsey M-P.  Isn't that bear too cute?

I used a bear and snowman stamp from Avery Elle for my tag.

Playing along with the 25 Tags of Christmas challenges is so much fun.  I look forward to this event each year.  And now I have 26 tags for my Christmas gifts, plus a ton of ideas to make more!

25 Days of Christmas Tags - Day #11

For today's tag on the 25 Days of Christmas Tags challenge, I chose this one by Carol as my inspiration piece:

Carol used dies from Birch Press Design for her beautiful ornament tag.   I didn't have any ornament dies, so I used my Cricut and an Anna Griffin ornament image to get something similar.

I kept with the white, silver and gold color scheme and a banner sentiment (sentiment from Taylored Expressions).  I didn't have any gold or silver cord for the tag strings, so I guess a trip to Michaels is in my future, lol!

Day #10 - 25 Days of Christmas Tags

Another day - another tag!  Today is Day #10 of the 25 Days of Christmas tags.   I took my inspiration from this tag by Tracey McNeely, who is the host of this event:

Here's my tag, based on Tracey's:

The tree is a Papertrey Ink stamp and the sentiment is from Recollections.

25 Days of Christmas Tags - Day #8

Time for Day #8 of the 25 Days of Christmas Tags!  I really loved these animal tags by Lindsey Larsen.

I used my Cricut to come up with this penguin tag, inspired by Lindsey's above:

So cute!  Now I might have to see if I can come up with a polar bear tag, too!

25 Days of Christmas Tags - Day 6

It's Day 6 of the 25 Days of Christmas Tags!    Lots of great tags on the Day 6 blog post, but I chose this one by Karola Rehnstrom as my inspiration because I love the blended ink background.

I used Distress Oxide inks in Worn Lipstick, Pistachio and Picked Raspberry for my tag.  The sentiment is from Unity Stamps, heat embossed with gold embossing powder.

A little different from normal Christmas colors, but I'm sure I'll have wrapping paper to match!

25 Days of Christmas Tags - Day 4

For Day 4 of the 25 Days of Christmas Tags, I used this tag by Kim Heggins as my inspiration:

I love the little sweet treats on this tag, so used some similar stamps on my tag:

Looking at these tags makes me want to fix a cup of hot chocolate!

Day #1 of the 25 Days of Christmas Tags

It's time for Tracey McNeely's annual 25 Days of Christmas Tags!  I took part in this last year and it was such fun to see all the inspiration, try new styles, and end up with 25 tags for gifts or cards.

I got started a little late, so even though it's the fourth, I'm posting my Day 1 tag.   I took inspiration from these tags by Mendi Yoshikawa:

Here's my tag, using a Lawn Fawn stamp set.

I have a few Christmas gifts purchased already, so now I can get one wrapped & tagged!

Day 24 - 25 Days of Christmas Tags

Time for Day #24 of the 25 Days of Christmas Tags.  The inspiration tag for today came from Mindy Baxter for Heffy Doodle Stamps:

I loved the snowy scene with the penguin and snowman.  Here's my tag for the challenge:

I did some masking for the snowy hills, inking the rest of the tag with Distress Oxide ink and then stenciling some stars with white pigment ink.  I also added a few dots of clear sparkle pen in the sky.  The stamped images are from Mama Elephant.

Our trees are up and the house is all decorated now, so hopefully I'll get some gifts wrapped this weekend and put some of these tags to use!

Day #17 - 25 Days of Christmas Tags

Pretty Pink Posh is the sponsor for Day #17 in the 25 Days of Christmas Tags challenge.  I was inspired by these tags from Alix Davis:

I loved the scalloped square tag and the Santa Claus, so pulled those elements for my tag.

After stamping and coloring the Santa, I added some Cosmic Shimmer Fluffy Stuff to Santa's fur to get some dimension and sponged a little yellow ink around the edges.  My 3-year-old granddaughter liked this tag so much she hung it on the tree, so I guess it won't be going on a package, LOL!
